Since its founding in 1999, the Journalism & Media Studies Centre at The University of Hong Kong has become one of the top-ranked journalism schools in the world. Its alumni network spans the continents, with graduates at newspapers, television news organizations, wire services, online news outlets, the financial services industry and government. The mission of JMSC is to pursue excellence in journalism and foster diverse voices in the international media.
JMSC has been the SOPA Editorial Awards administrator since 2011.
